Today my kids done something amazing. They helped me find, carry, pack and take food to a local food bank. We got to meet some lovely people who take time out their day to help others.
The festive period is one of the rare chances (if fortunate enough) to be with loved ones whether it’s family, friends or pets. Unfortunately, this time of year can be especially hard for others, so this year The Bakers Dozen is donating food in Glasgow to help others in need. Instead of sending out gifts to our clients and supporters as a thank you, we hope this small token of generosity will help someone over the festive period.
Empowering creatives to do good is part of The Bakers Dozens core purpose and something we’ll strive to improve on year by year. The downside is we could have supported so many fantastic charities this year like Social Bite or Make a Wish.
It shouldn’t just be about helping these life-changing organisations during the festive period, but instead all year round. If you or your business could make a massive difference in someone’s health or mental health, then why not pay it forward?
For now, have a truly awesome festive period and thank you for a wonderful year.
